A fun, family-friendly daytime event is Kids Camp Paint “Fireworks” through Kids Camp at Posh. From 10:00 am to 1:00 pm your littles will enjoy a painting class, games, face painting, and so much more. Each child will leave with a piece of artwork to remember their fun day. Good for ages 4 and up, cost is $24.
Looking to add a little education to your new year’s eve? Stop by the Museum of Boulder for the National Geographic’s Living with Wolves exhibit. Learn the wolf pack’s social structures, dispel myths and discover efforts to reintroduce them to Colorado. This multimedia exhibit offers opportunities for visitors to touch traps and pelts, and listen to their mystical voices.
Face painting, noisemakers, and balloon animals, oh my! It must be a party at WOW Children’s Museum. Family’s can enjoy a daytime party – morning and afternoon sessions available – ringing in the new year with a magic show and refreshments.
If dancing makes you happy, then you’ll definitely want to check out The Avalon Ballroom in Boulder. Here you can ring in the new year with music, friends, dance performances and a champagne toast at midnight! Bands this year will be Joe Smith and the Spicy Pickles, and After Midnight.
FACE, a nationally recognized vocal rock band based out of Boulder, will be hitting the BDT Stage starting at 6:30 pm. This “local’s favorite” has been named “Best Local Musician/Group” and “Best Local Band” so get your tickets early!
You haven’t seen cool, until you’ve seen speakeasy cool, at License No. 1! Here you can dance the night away with DJ B-Money. Quench your thirst with signature drink specials all night.
