New Year’s Eve in Boulder

Gala Events

Be a part of history when you celebrate the Hotel’s Boulderado 110-year Anniversary as you ring in the new year at one of the swankiest events in town, Hotel Boulderado’s Gala Event. Begin the evening with cocktails and passed hors-d’oeuvres under a sparkling stained-glass canopy, then enjoy a lavish buffet dinner to the music of the Mark Diamond Band, a local favorite. Ring in the new year on a glamorous note and know that you’re part of an annual holiday tradition since 1909. Black tie is optional.

Family Friendly

A fun, family-friendly daytime event is Kids Camp Paint “Fireworks” through Kids Camp at Posh. From 10:00 am to 1:00 pm your littles will enjoy a painting class, games, face painting, and so much more. Each child will leave with a piece of artwork to remember their fun day. Good for ages 4 and up, cost is $24.

Looking to add a little education to your new year’s eve? Stop by the Museum of Boulder for the National Geographic’s Living with Wolves exhibit. Learn the wolf pack’s social structures, dispel myths and discover efforts to reintroduce them to Colorado. This multimedia exhibit offers opportunities for visitors to touch traps and pelts, and listen to their mystical voices.

Face painting, noisemakers, and balloon animals, oh my! It must be a party at WOW Children’s Museum. Family’s can enjoy a daytime party – morning and afternoon sessions available – ringing in the new year with a magic show and refreshments.

It may have been a few years since Chef Hosea Rosenberg took home his Top Chef trophy, but he’s only used that time to even further hone his skills. Head on over on the 31st and enjoy a 5-course pre-fixe dinner, with optional beverage pairings.
